The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and

saves those who are crushed in spirit. ~ Psalm 34:18

A Story of Hope

A parent's worst nightmare - the death of a child. But, there is hope in the darkness, there is light at the end of the dark tunnel. There is a God who loves us through our tragic circumstances and walks with us through the valley of the shadow of death. God can bring good out of any terrible situation.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

~ II Corinthians 1:3-4
